About

Recently, every day brings news of another allegation of sexual misconduct in a variety of institutional settings. Many of these stories demonstrate a pattern of sexual misconduct extending over years.
Now more than ever, institutions will be held to greater account for how they respond to these allegations, both in the courts and in the press. In addition, the Trump Administration’s de-regulation efforts have upended years of Title IX guidance and regulatory mandates. Join our experienced faculty – representing employers, health care entities, educational institutions – as they discuss a variety of issues on this topic:

▶▶ Legal Updates in Title VII and Title IX jurisprudence;
▶▶ How to manage the intersection of Public Relations concerns with appropriate Institutional responses;
▶▶ When and how to interact with Law Enforcement;
▶▶ The Landscape for Non-Disclosure Agreements now and their future viability;
▶▶ Considerations concerning allegations of sexual misconduct against licensed professionals; and
▶▶ Steps in conducting investigations into allegations of sexual misconduct

Recorded in April 2018.
