This seminar will explore common insurance coverage issues which arise from homeowners, renters and automobile insurance obtained by an individual in Pennsylvania.

Homeowners and renters insurance –

  • Who is considered to be an insured?
  • What is a covered peril?
  • What property is covered?
  • What common exclusions apply to remove coverage?
  • What liability insurance issues commonly arise when the insured is sued by a third party?

Automobile insurance –

  • Who is considered to be an insured?
  • What property coverage issues arise when the insured's auto is not totaled?
  • How does medical expense coverage apply?
  • What common exclusions apply when the insured is sued by a third party?
  • What common problems come up when an accident is caused by a drunk driver or a motorist from another state?
  • What uninsured and underinsured issues arise when an accident occurs?
