This continuing legal education (CLE) course will feature a panel of subject matter experts discussing the regulatory framework and recent developments in the pipeline and midstream sector. The topics of discussion will include an overview of the pipeline safety regulations that apply to gathering and transmission lines in Pennsylvania, as well as an analysis of recent decisions from the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission delineating the public utility status of pipeline projects. Current trends in litigation relating to pipelines and the midstream sector will be outlined and explored. Finally, trending issues in federal energy law and policy and other topics of interest to the midstream sector will also be discussed. This CLE program is targeted to practicing lawyers who are interested learning more about the regulatory framework in Pennsylvania and recent developments in the pipeline and midstream sector.
