Program Attorney/Business Manager – The Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the continuing legal education arm of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, seeks an attorney to fill the position of Program Attorney/Business Manager based in its Philadelphia office.  This individual will report to the Associate Director of Content Development and is responsible for developing  and coordinating CLE courses, primarily in conjunction with the staff at the Philadelphia office.  This person will be expected to initiate and develop relationships with fellow attorneys, judges, law firms, and other professionals to serve as volunteer course planners and presenters.  The Program Attorney/Business Manager will be responsible for developing budgets for programs and will be accountable to revenue projections.  He or she will manage the staff and building issues in the Philadelphia office and will share responsibility for sound fiscal management of the Philadelphia conference center and for PBI. The individual will work with the marketing team to develop appropriate marketing plans for projects.  In addition, he or she will oversee the development of high quality written materials, attend CLE presentations to evaluate quality and support the faculty presenters.  The Program Attorney/Business Manager will also be responsible for scheduling CLE programs with faculty and staff to maximize attendance and avoid conflicts.
