IT Help Desk Coordinator Scope of Work:
The IT Help Desk Coordinator provides hands on support in all aspects of the IT infrastructure of PBI. They are responsible for the creation of new users, maintenance of current user accounts and maintaining the user environment of the network for both onsite and remote employees. They will interface with all levels of PBI staff as well as on occasion, its volunteer speakers and content producers. The coordinator may travel to PBI’s offices in Philadelphia or Pittsburgh as required and occasionally may need to perform work during non-traditional business hours. This is an entry level, hands on position. Associate’s degree in a technical field such as computer science or related field preferred and/or prior work experience in an IT support position. Strong communication skills required. Ideal candidates must be detail and deadline driven and able to support multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with desktop installation and configuration as well as troubleshooting desktop hardware and software issues required. Proficiency in Windows 7-10, experience with Active Directory and Windows Servers OS required. Knowledge of Network Protocols preferred.
