Juvenile Court Rule on Permanency Hearings Amended to Comply with Federal Law

Rules 1120 and 1608 of the Rules of Juvenile Court Procedure will be modified next year to ensure Pennsylvania’s compliance with the federal Preventing Sex Trafficking and Strengthening Families Act (PSTSFA).

Supreme Court Clarifies Rule Changes on Qualifications of Masters in Dependency and Delinquency Matters

By order dated July 13, 2015, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court announced that new Rules 182 and 1182 of the Rules of Juvenile Court Procedure, as modified, shall be effective August 1, 2017.

Juvenile Court Rule Changes Aimed at Encouraging Family Finding

By order dated July 13, 2015, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court approved modifications to Rules of Juvenile Court Procedure 1120, 1210, 1240, 1242, 1330, 1408, 1409, 1512, 1514, 1515, 1608, 1609, 1610, 1611, and 1635.
