Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI) is the non-profit continuing legal education arm of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Our mission is to provide Pennsylvania lawyers with information that is timely, practical, cost effective, and of the highest possible quality.

Special discounts

Those admitted to the bar recently may attend most courses for a reduced tuition fee. These are listed with other tuition fees in our online and print catalogs and brochures.

Bridge the Gap

The CLE Board requires every newly admitted lawyer to take a Bridge the Gap course. Several times a year, PBI offers this course free to those who must take it. To find any scheduled PBI presentations, type the word Bridge in the search box at the top of any page (no result of your search means the next presentations are not yet scheduled).
