Search & Find on PBI's Web Site

RELATED PAGES:   Advanced Catalog Search   |   Site Index

Take a few minutes--and save lots of time later--to read this page.

There are two separate parts to our website (although the menus and navigation are integrated). The catalog contains all of the seminars and publications that we sell. The other pages of our site provide information, useful links, and other free resources. You search the two in different ways (although our tips for finding something, once you land on a page, are the same).

Browse or search the catalog

There are two handy tools at the top of every page:

The drop-down menu ("Browse Your Practice Area") takes you to all seminars, publications, and other products in a chosen category.

The Search Our Entire Catalog box searches the titles of all seminars and other products. Enter just one word or the full title; if you know the product number you can use that instead.

There is also a page that offers advanced catalog search features.

Search the rest of our website

Use this search engine for the rest of our site. It works like any other Google search--but limited to our website.

Publications and E-Pubs

You can search through the full text of all e-pubs (electronic publications) to find those that address your issue. Use the Fulltext PDF Search box at the top of any e-pubs page, click Search, and you'll get a page of "hits." Then you can review the tables of contents.

For all e-pubs and some books, you can review the table of contents before purchase. If this option is available, you will see a Contents button on the right side of the page (near the top), and a Table of Contents link near the bottom of the page. This document is in PDF format and you will need Adobe Reader on your computer to open it (if the document doesn't open for you, follow this link to Adobe's Acrobat reader and look for Get Adobe Reader at the bottom of the page).

Finding Something Once You're on a Specific Page

  1. If you think something is on a particular page, but it's a long page with a lot of text, go to that page.
  2. Then use the "Find" command in your web browser software and type a word that is part of what you're looking for.
  3. In many browsers, Find is under the Edit menu. In some, it's a button at the top of the page.
