Adoption law is an area of family law that requires an understanding of how to represent adoptive parents, birth parents, and work with private and public agencies. This Adoption and Family Building 2021 course will provide you with a comprehensive overview of: adoption and pre-planning for adoptive parents, legal proceedings including representing birth parents and foster-to-adopt, special issues such as interstate adoptions, ICWA, foreign adoptions, and cutting edge issues related to assisted reproduction, gestational carriers, second and step parent adoptions, and kinship adoptions.
