Ethics and Malpractice Avoidance in Unusual Times
We are living in a time unlike anything any of us have seen in our lifetimes.  The changes in practice have created new pitfalls for attorneys.  Our panelists will identify those pitfalls and provide tips for avoiding them. Post-COVID 19 Practice Update
COVID-19 changed the way you practice and created new areas of liability. Join our panel as they update you on new trends, technology, practice tips in the “new normal,” and ways the PBA Task Force and Continuity of Legal Services and the courts are addressing needs of litigations during COVID-19.  Areas of practice to be covered are: Civil Litigation, Workers’ Compensation, Technology, Business Interruption and Force Majeure.

Lessons Learned/Steps to Move Forward 
COVID-19 changed litigation, caused backlogs, and disrupted the practice of law.  Courts in Pennsylvania are following different procedures and levels of distance litigation.  Lawyers are practicing law remotely. The Task Force on Continuity of Delivery of Legal Services, created by President David Schwager, and chaired by Hon. Thomas Vanaskie (Ret.), will provide an update on the state of litigation and the practice of law in Pennsylvania and what you need to know to handle your cases going forward.
