About

Pennsylvania is home to 6+ million acres of prime hunting lands as well as many pristine lakes, rivers and streams. It’s no surprise that Pennsylvania is ranked the 10th most hunter-friendly state in the U.S., according to Bowhunting.com.

Every year, men, women and youth take part in the traditions of hunting, fishing and trapping across the Commonwealth. What keeps the tradition alive? The combination of active participants, access to public land acreage and waterways, the wide variety of game and our game regulations.

The laws of the great outdoors in Pennsylvania and the interrelationship with federal law can be complex. Unfortunately, even innocent mistakes can lead to serious legal consequences.

In this course, we cover the basics of how Pennsylvania regulates hunting and trapping.

  • The regulatory framework governing the suspension and reinstatement of hunting privileges
  • Enforcement
  • Representing a client who’s been accused of a violation
  • Statutory and case law
