Giving Your Trust a Facelift: Modification of Trusts

Things happen. Disputes arise. Tax laws change. You might need to “fix” or change something about a trust to accomplish certain goals. Or maybe you just need to give a tired trust a “facelift” or “freshen up” the provisions to handle certain eventualities more efficiently. 

This session discusses how to settle disputes and address problems by modifying and reforming trusts. Get important guidance and practical tips to handle trust changes effectively. 

Inheritance Tax Update 2021

Living Wills

Living wills authorize doctors to provide specified types of life-sustaining treatment for patients who are no longer able to communicate their preferences. In addition to executing a Living Will, a principal may direct life-sustaining treatments
through execution of a POLST (Physician Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment). 

This session delves into the drafting and execution of these documents, providing key pointers to ensure your clients’ wishes are properly communicated and carried out. Sample documents are included.
