Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) have been widely used in a variety of industrial and consumer applications due to their resistance to heat, water, and oil. Increased federal and state regulatory attention on certain types of PFAS as well as public scrutiny has transformed the PFAS discussion.
In light of growing liability concerns and continued uncertainty, this course focuses on new remediation technologies, recent federal legislation, state regulatory action, and potential impacts on the private sector.
