Timothy Holman Esq.

Timothy J. Holman, Esquire, is a partner at the law firm of Smith Kane Holman, LLC, with offices in Malvern and Philadelphia. He limits his practice to fiduciary and commercial litigation (i.e. will contests, power of attorney financial abuse matters and guardianships.  During his 31 years as a litigator, Mr. Holman has developed a reputation for conducting brutally efficient cross examinations and for rendering complex factual and legal issues simple.  He lectures frequently for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Philadelphia Bar Association and others on fiduciary litigation topics, ethical issues facing lawyers and trial advocacy.  He served previously as the Representative of the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Probate and Trust Law Section (the “Probate Section”) to the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association.  He also served a three year term as an elected member of the Probate Section’s Executive Committee, and for six years served as chair of the Probate Section’s Orphans’ Court Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee.  Mr. Holman taught a class on “Probate Process and Practice” for several years in the Villanova Law School’s Graduate Tax Division.  He has been recognized from 2012 through 2022 by the “Best Lawyers in America” in the field of fiduciary litigation, and as a “Super Lawyer” from 2016 through 2022 in estate and trust litigation.  Mr. Holman authors the popular blog “Around the Pennsylvania Orphans’ Courts” which can be found at the firm’s website – www.skhlaw.com. 

Marc Perry JD, Esq.

Mr. Perry is a Principal in Post & Schell’s Casualty Litigation Department and Co-Chair of the firm’s Hospitality Practice Group. He is an experienced trial lawyer and has successfully represented members of the hospitality industry and health care industry in litigation in state and federal courts. Mr. Perry has tried and litigated complex premises liability, catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims on behalf of the hospitality and health care industries, including claims for slip/trip and fall, criminal conduct of third parties on the premises, negligent security and bed bug claims. He is a graduate of Rider College (B.A. in Political Science, 1989) and Boston College Law School (J.D., 1992) and began his career as a law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in San Francisco. Mr. Perry is a former recipient of Philadelphia Business Journal’s “40-under-40” and Philadelphia Magazine’s “Pennsylvania Rising Stars,” and he was a past finalist for a White House Fellowship.

Abbe Fletman

Judge Fletman is a
judge in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and Mass Torts Team Leader of
the Trial Division—Civil, where she supervises all Philadelphia mass tort
cases. She was appointed to the bench in 2014 and was elected to a 10-year
term in 2015. She has served as both a criminal and civil trial judge. She
earned a BA from the University of Chicago, a JD from the University of
Pennsylvania Law School, and an LLM in trial advocacy from Temple
University’s Beasley School of Law. From 1988 to 2014, Judge Fletman was a
trial lawyer in private practice with a concentration in intellectual
property and technology matters, complex commercial cases, women’s
sports-related litigation, and election law. She is a vice chair of the Women
Trial Lawyers Committee of the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial
& Insurance Practice Section and a former chair of the Woman Advocate
Committee of the ABA’s Litigation Section.
