Join us for three one- hour segments as we address ADR and Mediation.
The first hour will focus on Getting Started and is designed to address two contrasting but overlapping goals and provide some guidance on time and cost-effective ways for practitioners to effectively represent disputants in mediation, while also highlighting the diverse career track opportunities developing for practitioners who early in their career can advantage development of skillsets and approaches previously only provided to “seasoned lawyers”.
The second hour will consist of Three Openings and Transitions offering “live” exercises demonstrating and sharing techniques and options for use in everyone’s practice. The panel will discuss the value of each approach, and tie in the recommendation that sets the stage for successful process.
The final hour, Structure of ADR World in Pennsylvania, will briefly discuss the history of the development of mediation and provide an update on initiatives ongoing in Alleghany and Philadelphia and surrounding counties, also federal USDC structures and the “patchwork” that we hope to connect moving forward.
