Diana Woodside Esq.
Ms. Woodside is the Director of Policy, Grants and Legislative Affairs for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. She serves as the liaison to the Governor’s Office for criminal justice policy development, and provides feedback on legislation with potential impact on the Department of Corrections on matters involving inmates, sentencing, recidivism, and other criminal justice issues. Ms. Woodside started her legal career as a Deputy District Attorney in Dauphin County and spent several years in private law practice where she concentrated on criminal defense and family law. She also served as The Director of Education and Outreach for the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. Prior to her legal career, she was employed as a high school Spanish teacher. Ms. Woodside received her B.A. from Dickinson College in 1986, M.A. from Penn State University in 1991; and her J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law in 1995.
