At the end of each year, individuals enrolled in the Medicare system are provided an opportunity to evaluate their current coverage strategy and make changes for the upcoming year. This is their Annual Enrollment Period (AEP). This presentation will examine:
1. The function, process, and timeline of the AEP
2. The do’s and don’ts during this period
3. Avoiding the marketing traps of insurance companies and their representatives
4. Taking ownership of the process – How to effectively evaluate coverage options and how to efficiently enroll in new product choices, without the assistance of an insurance broker
