Overview

This session is a primer and discussion on the drafting and execution of both financial and health care powers of attorney and other health care documents.  We will also discuss practical solutions to situations that may arise when the document must be used and is presented to financial institutions and healthcare providers. Bring your questions, concerns, and experiences!

Faculty

Mary Corsetti Esq.

Ms. Corsetti is a member of Williams Coulson in Pittsburgh. Her practice focuses on estates, trusts, Orphans’ Court litigation, tax, business organizations, real estate and elder law. Before entering private practice, she served as a law clerk on the Superior Court. Ms. Corsetti has served as an adjunct faculty member of the Duquesne University John F. Donahue Graduate School of Business, where she taught a legal process course which included civil procedure, estates and trusts, and white collar crime. She is a Federal Arbitrator and Mediator, participated in Toastmasters International, and is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. As a guest on WPTT/WMNY, KQV and in other venues, she has spoken on a variety of estate and business law topics. She is a Five Star Best in Client Satisfaction Financial Services Professional and has been AV Preeminent rated in Martindale-Hubbell since 1997.
