NY Continuing Legal Education Course FAQs

Experienced New York attorneys must complete 24 CLE credit hours every two years, including:

  • 4 Ethics & Professionalism credits
  • 1 Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias credit

Newly admitted attorneys in New York have separate requirements under the transitional program, which includes additional skills and law practice management credits.
