Meet Chichun Emily Sun, DO
Emily Sun, DO, is a cognitive neurologist with Geisinger Health. She treats disorders of thinking, memory and cognition. She provides care for neurological diseases including Alzheimer’s, dementia, mild cognitive impairment, frontotemporal dementia, Lewy body dementia and vascular dementia. “When I was in elementary school, my grandmother had Alzheimer's disease and my parents took care of her for 8 years before she passed,” says Dr. Sun. “My desire to become a cognitive neurologist is also fueled by the hope that one day we will have effective treatments and prevention for dementia.” Dr. Sun was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which recognizes physicians who display compassion, respect and empathy in the delivery of patient care. She has also been honored for exceptional teaching. Dr. Sun moved to the United States from Taiwan with her family in 2003.

Faculty
Elaine M. Spicher, BSW
Ms. Spicher joined the Kreisher Marshall and Associates, LLC team in February of 2019. In her role as Elder Care Coordinator she assists clients and their families with care coordination in an effort to keep loved ones in the least restrictive environment throughout their care continuum. She brings over 20 years of experience working with the senior population through various healthcare settings. She is a graduate of Bloomsburg University with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Ms. Spicher earned her Accredited Case Management Certification in 2012. She also has extensive training and experience working with individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and co-facilitates a monthly Alzheimer’s Support Group. She is also a member of the Bloomsburg Walk to End Alzheimer’s Planning Committee and Memory Walk Team Captain. Outside of work, she is a member of the Central Columbia School District Board of Directors and the Central Columbia Educational Foundation.
Richard Klingerman, Esq.
Richard “Ricky” Klingerman is a first-generation attorney born and raised in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Ricky focuses his practice on family law, estate planning, elder law, social security disability, and real estate for the law firm, Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC. Ricky earned his B.A. from Dickinson College in 2018 majoring in political science and minoring in religion. He was a member of the varsity football program for four years. Ricky also was a part of the Dickinson College Football Leadership Council, Big Brother, Big Sister mentorship program, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and Team IMPACT during his tenure at Dickinson. After obtaining his undergraduate degree, Ricky earned his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2021 where he was a member of the Military and Government Law Association, the Bob Parsons Veterans Advocacy Clinic, and the 3L representative for the Entertainment and Sports Law Society (EASL). Prior to joining KMA, Ricky was a practicing attorney in Baltimore, Maryland, focusing on personal injury law. His prior firm primarily focused on automobile accidents and slip and falls. He represented clients through both the pre-litigation and litigation sides of his firm’s practice.
Karrie L. Sarisky
Karrie is an Elder Care Coordinator at Kreisher Marshall and Associates, where she supervises the KMA Guardianship Services division of the practice. She earned her B.A. in psychology from Bloomsburg University. She has 20 years of experience working with the elderly population. She started her career working at the Aging office as a Protective Service Worker. She currently is on the board of Dementia Friendly Susquehanna Valley Communities, co-facilitates a monthly Dementia Caregiver Support group and informs community member about dementia by leading Dementia Friends sessions. Karrie is a certified Medicaid Planner and Certified Dementia Practitioner. She is currently working toward her certification to become a Certified National Guardian. One of Karrie’s passions is protecting our senior community member while educating community members about elderly issues.

Marianne E. Kreisher, Esq., NCG, CELA
Ms. Kreisher is a Partner at Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC in Bloomsburg, where she practices in the areas of elder law, estate planning and administration, guardianship, special needs planning and estate litigation. She earned her B.A. from Penn State University in 1993 and graduated cum laude from Widener Law School in Harrisburg in 1996. Following law school, Ms. Kreisher worked in the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office for eight years as a deputy attorney general handling criminal appeals, grand jury investigations and criminal prosecutions. Ms. Kreisher is a certified elder law attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation as well as a National Certified Guardian by the Center for Guardianship Certification. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the National Guardianship Association, the Pennsylvania Guardianship Network, the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association, and she serves on the Chair of the Elder Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Ms. Kreisher has served as adjunct professor at Central Penn College and is a regular presenter for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute continuing education programs. She is the President of the Bloomsburg Area School Board, and Past President of the Bloomsburg Kiwanis Club and Columbia/Montour County Bar Association.
