Overview
Electronic signatures are now routine in legal and commercial practice, yet the legal standards that transform a digital mark into a binding “signature” are often misunderstood—or overlooked. This program examines the requirements of the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act, focusing on how intent, consent, and system integrity determine enforceability. Attendees will gain practical guidance on identifying common compliance gaps and mitigating risks associated with widely used platforms such as DocuSign and Adobe Acrobat Sign.
