Overview
This session introduces the various types of fiscal sponsorship arrangements, how to do these well, and what can go wrong. Jeff Fromknecht then interviews Matthew Edwards, lead counsel for the Community Foundation for the Capital Region in MobilizeGreen Inc. v. Community Foundation for the Capital Region, a recent case in which a fiscal sponsor successfully defeated a nonprofit organization’s breach of fiduciary duty lawsuit.
