Overview
Understanding how to conduct thorough and legally sound workplace investigations is a must for any employer. In this session, MidAtlantic Employers’ Association Director of Legal and Compliance Services Amy McAndrew will provide a comprehensive guide to conducting fair, thorough, and legally sound workplace investigations. Participants will explore the unique challenges of conducting workplace investigations in virtual and hybrid workplaces. From receiving an allegation to reaching a resolution, Amy will share insights into ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies, while also mitigating legal risks.

Amy G. McAndrew, Esq.
Amy McAndrew is MidAtlantic Employers’ Association’s Director of Legal and Compliance Services. Amy is a highly skilled labor and employment law attorney who worked for 18 years at the Philadelphia-based law firm Pepper Hamilton LLP (now Troutman Pepper), a general practice firm with offices throughout the United States. She also spent a year with Littler Mendelson P.C., an international labor and employment law firm. Amy graduated from Rutgers College with a double major in English and Communication, where she received highest honors in Communication and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Amy went on to graduate cum laude from Boston College Law School. As Director of Legal and Compliance Services at MEA, Amy provides legal advice and compliance services to the Association’s Members, in addition to providing Members with updates on developments in employment law. Amy is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
