Joseph Novello, MBA, CPA, is the founder of The Financial Training Organization and a nationally recognized presenter on finance for lawyers. A former Ernst & Young accountant and Fortune 500 executive, he has served as a Controller, CFO, Director of Planning and Analysis, and Director of Sales Operations. Joe holds an MBA in Finance from New York University and has trained thousands of attorneys across the United States and Canada on financial literacy, fraud prevention, and business fundamentals.

Joe is a Certified Public Accountant who began his career at Ernst & Young, Certified Public Accountants, in New York. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and earned an MBA in Finance from New York University. Joe has experience with both domestic and foreign Fortune companies where he held positions including Controller, CFO, Director of Planning and Analysis and Director of Sales Operations. Since founding the Financial Training Organization in 2010, Joe has presented his finance programs to thousands of lawyers at bar association and CLE providers throughout the United States and across Canada. Joe enjoys giving the seminars and encourages participant questions. He brings his real-world experience to the seminar with his candid opinion on key issues and is consistently rated as exceeding expectations. His goal is to share an easy-to-understand approach that will make dealing with a client’s financial matters more manageable.
