Overview

Many lawyers decide to “hang their own shingle” after they pass the bar. Unfortunately, instead of owning a law firm they become employees of a law firm that happens to be named after them. They find themselves doing all the work of a secretary, law clerk, paralegal and attorney. The law firm they wanted to create becomes a glorified job rather than a practice they own.

Learn the three-step process on how to build the law firm you envisioned by hiring, acquiring and inspiring your team to achieve the results you want. This framework will help you understand the importance of working “on” your law firm instead of “in” it and you will begin to take ownership of what instead owns most lawyers.

This CLE will focus on building a law firm with a culture of inspiring one another to provide the best atmosphere for clients and attorneys, alike.

Ross Albers Esq.

Mr. Albers is the Founder & CEO of Albers & Associates, LLC located in Maryland.  Albers & Associates is a personal and professional development company that happens to practice law.  Mr. Albrers earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Bucknell University. While attending Bucknell, he was a member of the school’s nationally-ranked Division I lacrosse team.  Mr. Albers attended the University of Baltimore School of Law.  He lives in Westminster, MD with his wife Emily, and three daughters: Tilly, Charlie, and Gracie.
