Maureen Anderson Esq., CELA
Ms. Anderson established her own law firm in Doylestown in September 2018. She is a Certified Elder Law Attorney as designated by the National Elder Law Foundation and authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Ms. Anderson concentrates her practice in elder law, wills and estates. She provides a compassionate approach in assisting seniors and their families with their legal needs. She works with families facing long term care decisions, protection of assets, and navigation through complex planning for both health care and finances. She has extensive experience with government benefits including Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. Her practice also includes guardianships for seniors and for disabled individuals and assisting disabled individuals with special needs planning. Ms. Anderson’s practice also encompasses estate planning including wills, powers of attorney, and health-care directives as well as estate administration matters. Ms. Anderson earned her B.A. in Politics from St. Joseph’s University, her M.S. in Criminal Justice from St. Joseph’s University, and her J.D. from the University of District of Columbia School of Law. Prior to entering the practice of elder law, Ms. Anderson has experience in victim advocacy in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office and in the health care industry, all of which provided a foundation for her current practice of law. She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Ms. Anderson is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
