Overview

Impact investing seeks to generate a profit while also creating a positive social impact – a “double bottom line.” Tulane Law Professor Khrista McCarden explores this emerging business sector that exists between the nonprofit and for-profit spheres. She delves into the recent establishment of the business corporation, examining the key concepts and features. She also provides a review of the Pennsylvania law pertaining to benefit corporations.

Recorded at the Nonprofit Law Institute in May 2022.
