Overview

Interest on Lawyer Trust Account (IOLTA)

One of the most common reasons for the imposition of serious discipline against a lawyer is the lawyer’s failure to handle fiduciary funds properly.  This course provides a basic understanding of the requirements of IOLTA and shares guidance for managing and safeguarding entrusted funds and other property belonging to clients and third parties.

Recorded in October 2023.
