Overview
This session will explore recent developments in Pennsylvania search-and-seizure law. Among other things, it will discuss whether there is a reasonable expectation of privacy in a person’s Google search history, whether police may temporarily seize a person’s gun during a traffic stop without evidence the gun is illegally possessed, and when police may search a car without a warrant. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of Pennsylvania suppression law and be better prepared to litigate suppression issues in court.
Recorded in June 2026.
