Sherman C. Toppin, Esq.
Sherman C. Toppin is the founding attorney of Toppin Law, P.C. and has over 20 years of experience representing commercial and residential real estate clients. Toppin Law is a boutique Philadelphia law firm that concentrates in land use, litigation, technology, estate, and probate matters. Mr. Toppin obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and his Juris Doctor from the William & Mary Law School. In addition, Mr. Toppin has acquired certificates from the MIT Sloan School of Business for completing the Executive Program “Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovations and Application” and from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business for the Executive Program “Business in the Metaverse Economy.” He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Virginia, and is eligible to represent clients in both state and federal courts within these jurisdictions. Within academia, Mr. Toppin currently serves as a member of the Adjunct Faculty at William & Mary Law School, where he instructs Law and Business in the Metaverse. Mr. Toppin is also an Adjunct Professor at the Temple University Real Estate Institute, where he instructs Real Estate Law. Mr. Toppin has been an instructor with the Pennsylvania Bar Institute since 2014 and has presented several continuing education programs in the area of real estate over the years. Mr. Toppin has established a Virtual and Digital Technology practice group at Toppin Law, P.C. that concentrates in transactions involving the metaverse, web3, emerging digital assets and virtual technologies.
