This program is eligible for 1 hour of CLE substantive credit in 60-minute states. In 50-minute states, this program is eligible for 1.2 hours of CLE ethics credit. Credit hours are estimated and are subject to each state’s approval and credit rounding rules.

Overview

Maintaining strong legal research skills is crucial for saving time and money for your clients. Having access to a robust database of local and federal case law is necessary information often used to structure your case. Whether you are an entry level associate or partner, legal research is a vital daily task and one that must be continually developed. Decisis provides industry-leading tools to make legal research easier and more intuitive, and it’s a free benefit to all Pennsylvania Bar Association members . 
 
This CLE program will introduce you to the Decisis system and examine legal research tools, strategies and techniques using content and features that are available in the system.

Faculty

David Francisco, J.D.

David Francisco is an Army veteran and has spent the last two years working for LexisNexis, and now Decisis. David received a B.A in Political Science from The Ohio State University. He subsequently went on to attend, and graduate, from Capital University School of Law with his Juris Doctor. He currently lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife, two dogs, two cats, and tortoise.
