Marianne E. Kreisher, Esq., NCG, CELA
Ms. Kreisher is a Partner at Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC in Bloomsburg, where she practices in the areas of elder law, estate planning and administration, guardianship, special needs planning and estate litigation. She earned her B.A. from Penn State University in 1993 and graduated cum laude from Widener Law School in Harrisburg in 1996. Following law school, Ms. Kreisher worked in the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office for eight years as a deputy attorney general handling criminal appeals, grand jury investigations and criminal prosecutions. Ms. Kreisher is a certified elder law attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation as well as a National Certified Guardian by the Center for Guardianship Certification. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the National Guardianship Association, the Pennsylvania Guardianship Network, the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association, and she serves on the Chair of the Elder Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Ms. Kreisher has served as adjunct professor at Central Penn College and is a regular presenter for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute continuing education programs. She is the President of the Bloomsburg Area School Board, and Past President of the Bloomsburg Kiwanis Club and Columbia/Montour County Bar Association.
Tye Cressman Esq., CELA
Tye is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) focusing on the areas of elder law, estate planning, Medicaid planning, trust formation, and special needs planning. His practice seeks to bring a personal feel to the exceedingly complex matters of Medicaid law, trust formation, tax planning, and business succession planning. Making complex and difficult concepts understandable to clients is the heart of his practice and his success. He was certified as an elder law attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF) in 2014 and accredited to represent claims of Veterans in 2012. He has been named as a “Rising Star” by SuperLawyers Magazine every year since 2016. Tye is a frequent presenter on elder law issues to local groups, including nursing homes and dementia-support groups. He is a past presenter for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI) and the National Bar Institute (NBI) on elder law, Medicaid planning, estate planning, and estate administration matters. He publishes various articles on estate planning and elder law, including acting as a featured presenter on the use of mediation in resolving family guardianship disputes at the 2014 World Congress on Adult Guardianship. He is the author of 10 Tough Conversations: Successfully Addressing Issues of Aging with our Parents (2013). Tye is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Trusts & Estates section, the Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Attorneys (PAELA), the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and the Crawford County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association Elder Law legislative committee, past president of the Crawford County Bar Association. He helped establish the Crawford County Bar Association Pro Bono Program in 2015. Tye is an active member of his community: he is a member of the NTMA Foundation Board, the Northwestern Legal Services Board, the ARC of Crawford County Board, the Session of the First Presbyterian Church of Meadville, past president of Big Brothers and Sisters of Crawford County, and past vice-president of the Meadville-Western Crawford County Chamber of Commerce.
