Overview
Navigating Pennsylvania's Election Law: The Post-2024 Legal Landscape.
The 2024 election cycle introduced significant legal developments in Pennsylvania's electoral landscape. From legislative changes to court rulings, the legal framework governing elections has evolved.
This seminar offers legal professionals an in-depth analysis of these changes and their implications for future elections.
Key topics include:
- Litigation over the ability for voters to "cure" their mail ballots, either through curing procedures or by casting provisional ballots.
- How Pennsylvania's election code drives the types of election cases Pennsylvania courts hear.
- Where election law currently stands in key areas – a topic with many unanswered questions of law despite copious amounts of 2024 election litigation.
Co-sponsored with Keep Our Republic. Founded in 2020, Keep Our Republic is a non-partisan civic action organization dedicated to protecting a republic of laws and strengthening the checks and balances of our democratic electoral system.
Recorded in June 2025.
