About

The camaraderie lives on at the PBA Environmental & Energy Law Section's Annual Dinner, Immediately following the reception after the Environmental Law Forum on Wednesday evening, April 3, 2019. It's the social event of the year for environmental lawyers!

Choose your entree options and register today to reserve your seat for great food, good times, exceptional networking, and an opportunity to toast R. Timothy Weston, recipient of the Section's Environmental Law Lifetime Achievement Award.

The 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes R. Timothy Weston for extraordinary efforts that have enhanced the development, improvement and furtherance of the practice of environmental law.

Tim began his career 47 years ago and is considered by many in the environmental bar to be a leading expert on water law in Pennsylvania. For 15 years, he worked with the PA DER and served on the famed DER Environmental Pollution Strike Force, DRBC & SEBC. During his tenure with DER, he was actively involved in the development of the Pennsylvania State Water Plan. Tim was one of the founding partners of K&L Gates’ Harrisburg office. He has litigated and won numerous precedent-setting cases on behalf of public water supply systems, industries and state governments regarding water rights, stormwater liabilities and water quality issues. He was instrumental in the development of Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and currently sits on its Board of Trustees, of which he is a former chair. He served as Chair of the Statewide Water Resources Committee created under the Pennsylvania Water Resources Planning Act and is a member of DEP’s Citizens Advisory Council.
